Transcribed the letters of Louisa Van Velsor Whitman for the Walt Whitman Project; Encoded transcriptions to be computer searchable; Researched and provided bibliographic references and supplemental information.

Portage County in the Civil War (2011)
~Researcher/Interviewer/Writer
Collaborated with a group of history and journalism students and faculty to put together a full-length documentary on the role of Portage County, Ohio in the Civil War.

“Reflective Representations: Tracking (Native) American Identities through TV Action & Drama”
Presented at the annual Spring Ohio Academy of History meeting, (April 8, 2011).

 ”The Indian that Never Was,” (2010)
~Producer/Director/Writer/Interviewer/Researcher
Collaborated with a visual production student to create a 10 minute student documentary examining the evolution of Indian portrayals on popular television.

 ”Overcoming Ethnocentrism: Perspectives on the Shawnee Brothers”
Presented at 3rd-Annual Shawnee State Celebration of Scholarship, Portsmouth, OH (Apr. 17, 2008).

Peruvian Mummy Project (2008)
Collaborated with eight other classmates to create a Peruvian Mummy replica and write short history of Peruvian burial practices; Displayed in the SSU Center for the Arts.
